On the foundations of the Riemann sphere with a curved horizon

We consider the Riemann sphere with a curved horizon. A simple Riemannian solution is defined, and a geometric solution is constructed from it. The geometric solution is shown to be identical to the Riemannian solution in the presence of a collision of the two objects.
